You asked. Loudly. We listened.
This release brings back one of the most missed features in Addo, alongside a major improvement to the Transaction Overview and several upgrades for customers using the Addo API.
Substatuses are back
When we redesigned the Transaction Overview, we removed the detailed statuses customers had relied on. The feedback was clear and immediate: you wanted them back. So they're back.
You can once again see detailed status information directly in the Transaction Overview, making it far easier to understand exactly where a transaction stands and what's happening with individual recipients.
Complex transactions are much easier to understand
We've also made a bigger improvement to how complex transactions are presented. Transactions can now be expanded to show their steps, document groups, and individual recipients, so you can quickly grasp the structure of a transaction and pinpoint exactly where something is holding up completion.
Simple transactions stay compact and easy to scan, while the extra detail is there the moment you need it.
API improvements
For customers building Addo into their own products and workflows, we've expanded the new Addo API with three updates.
Subaccounts in the new API. Subaccounts can now be created through the new Addo API. This capability already existed in the old API and is now available for customers migrating to, or building against, the new one.
Attachment approval and rejection callbacks. Integrations can now receive callbacks when individual attachments are approved or rejected, letting external systems react immediately instead of polling Addo for updates.
Retrieve available signing methods. The API can now return the signing methods currently available in Addo, so integrations no longer need to maintain their own hardcoded list.
And a few fixes
This release also includes improved CSV exports, a fix for document validity issues in advanced signing flows, better recovery after unsuccessful Entra ID logins, prevention of duplicate Entra ID groups, and a fix for SMS formatting when resending completed files.
But most importantly: substatuses are back.
