Addo expands with Faroese eID: Samleikin

Samleikin is now available for authentication and digital signing.

Addo now supports the Faroese eID solution Samleikin as both authentication method and signing provider across the platform. The integration is available in both the standalone solution and as part of Nordic eID.

The new integration makes it possible to use Samleikin in signing flows, forms, templates, APIs, receipts and the signing portal. This allows organizations to identify and allow users from the Faroe Islands to sign digitally with their national eID.

Samleikin is the official digital identity of the Faroe Islands and is already widely used for login and digital services in both the public and private sectors. The solution acts as a digital identity and digital signature with legal validity equivalent to an ordinary signature.

What does this mean in practice?

Organizations can now:

• Allow users from the Faroe Islands to identify themselves with Samleikin
• Collect digital signatures via Faroese eID
• Use Samleikin directly in automated workflows

With the addition of Samleikin, Addo further expands its support for Nordic eID solutions and makes it easier for organizations to work digitally across borders and local identity standards.
