91.2% is a pretty god result.
Before redesigning our Signing Portal, we identified a challenge: recipients could overlook documents that required approval or a signature. This made the process less intuitive and meant that more signing processes were left incomplete.
We therefore redesigned Signing Portal with a clear focus on making it easier for recipients to understand what requires action and how to complete the signing process from start to finish.

The redesign was implemented at the end of June. Since then, our completion rate has increased from around 82% to 91.2%.
That represents an improvement of 9.2 percentage points and means that significantly more of the signings our customers send out are now completed.
For us, this is a clear example of how design and usability are about more than how a solution looks. When it becomes easier for users to understand and complete a task, it can also create measurable results.
Security is only part of the experience
A signing solution of course needs to be secure and support the necessary requirements for identification and documentation. But security alone is not enough.
If users are unsure about what they need to do, even the best technical solution can create unnecessary friction. A signing process should feel straightforward, with clear guidance and an obvious next step.
That is why user experience plays an important role in digital signing. The technology behind the process can be complex, but the experience for the person signing should not be.
Making signing simple
Our goal with Signing Portal is therefore not only to make signing secure. We also want to make it simple, clear and easy to complete.
The increase from 82% to 91.2% suggests that we are moving in the right direction – and shows why investing in design and usability can have a real, measurable impact.
